A Pattern Play Layout with Reflection Scrapbook Kit

Happy 2017!! It's Eunyoung here. Today I'll share a layout using pattern playing with beautiful papers of Reflection Scrapbook Kit. Because the pattern playing gives a rhythm on layout, I like to do it with paper pieces.  

 

 

 

I thought it would be nice to create a layout using pattern play with Reflection Scrapbook Kit. I used watercolor style patterned papaers from the kit.

 

 

1. Trim some patterned papers by 2" x 2"

2. Cut the paper pieces in half

3. Arrange the triangular piece of paper on a background (a 8.5" x 11"white cardstock)

4. Add them on a background using double-side tape

 

 

 5. Do machine stitching randomly

6. Add a photo & acetate die-cuts

7. Embellish with epoxy buttons, origami wood veneer shapes & alphabet puffy sticker

8. Stamp a message using photopolymer clear stamp set

A bubble layout with circle shape

Today I'm sharing a fun layout. I used the photo of my nieces for a layout.

It was the moment of their water playing in fountain.

 

 

 

They look so fun!!! The mood of this photo inspired me. So I planed to create a layout with circle pattern playing. Because the circles give me some feelings ; fun, light and happy.

 

 

I used four stamp sets for this ; Baby Zoo Stamp Set , Label Love Stamp Set , Painted Encouragement Stamp Set , Tiny Hearts Stamp Set. 

First, I stamped the images from every stamp set on white cardstock for DIY patterned paper. I used Rouge Crisp Dye Ink , Frayed Leaf Crisp Dye Ink , Mango Smoothie Crisp Dye Ink , Lava Rock Crisp Dye Ink .

 

 

After stamping every image, I punched circles on DIY patterned papers. There are six different sized circles on this layout, I used four cirle punches & compass for it. I sewed each ciclre by machine and then added them on left side of layout with pop-dots. I finished to add title and stamp a date on layout.

Today I'm sharing a fun layout with playing circle.

I used 2 inche circle punch for trimming photos.

I have different sized circle punches, they are so useful. 

 

 

After sewing some circles by machine, I added photos on cicles with pop dots. 

Can you see 3D effect?? :)

 

If I found pretty coffee sleeves, I cannot come home without them!!!!😳
Because there are so many beautiful coffee sleeves in this city😍
and they are very useful for layout...like this!!! :)

I traveled to JeJu Island with my mother and sister's family in last month.

This picture was taken on 2nd day of then.

After taking a shower, my youngest niece saw her photos on the bed.

She loves to tell me about photos....

why she likes this or why she doesn't like that...

She seemes to be a little model!!! :)   

 

  I used circle patterned paper pieces as speech bubbles.

These circles mean her sayings & thoughts about photos!!

 

 

I used three diffrent-sized circle punches for this.

 

 

I had machine stitchings on circle pieces.

As I saw this amzing patterned paper (from PINKFRESH STUDIO),

I decided a pattern play layout with this pretty triangles.

 

After machine stitching on triangle papers, I arranged photo and them.

And then I embellished with sequins , puffy stickers and stamping.

 I've seen many scrapbookers' pretty titles cut by Silhouette .  

So, today I tried it!! This circle-shaped photo was punched by EK 2inch sized circle punch.

 

 

 

 

I used Dear Lizzy 6x6 pattern paper pad.

This paper pad is like a cany!!! I love it!! :)
