Hello, SC fans. It's Eunyoung. I'm so happy to be here to share a scrapbook layout with a this week sketch for Summer Sketch Class.
The photos are first step in creating my scrapbook layout, which usually start with a white background. But I do not always get an idea where to start. That's when a sketch is a good tip to start my page. It doesn't mean that I follow the sketch excatly.
For this scrapbook layout, I decided this sketch to fit to 8.5" x 11" size instead of 12" x 12" and I moved the stripes on left side from right side of the sketch. After machine stitching paper stripes, I layered them on left side of background using double-side tape. I often create a simple page with one focal point that accents the photo. For this project, I used one 2.5" x 3.25" sized photo and placed a title instead of a second photo.
My
page is usually clean & simple when working on this type of layout. There
are not many embellishments on a page. I try to limit the use to just a alphabet
sticker , chipboard and wood veneer on a photo or paper. I think machine
stitching on a page adds a lot of interest.
I hope you'll enjoy my page and thank you for stopping by.
